Suppliers who supply their products to European and North American manufacturers (OEMs) are required to evaluate the FMEA based on the FMEA manuals of VDA and AIAG.
This has sometimes led to an increase in the complexity of supplier product development and improvement. The common requirements and expectations of the FMEA now enable
suppliers to create a unified process for the FMEA that meets the needs and expectations of their respective customers.
Objectives
The aim of the training is to teach the basics of the new FMEA and provide practical guidance on its application.
Concept & Methods
An online quiz, for which some excerpts from the FMEA manual are provided, will determine the level of knowledge of the participants prior to the training.
This is followed by a face-to-face training with integrated individual- and group works, supported by the professional expertise of the trainer. Eight weeks after the workshop, a final webinar
will take place in which the participants can exchange experiences, share best practice approaches and ask questions.
Beginners as well as prospective users of the method from product and process development, testing, logistics, production, test planning, maintenance and quality.
There are no special precedents necessary.
